CLEVELAND – Less than a month ago, billboards and signs posted between Cleveland and LeBron James’s hometown of Akron implored him to stay.

Now one local marketing company wants to make sure James, who was born and raised in Akron, knows he may be welcome there, but he’s no longer home.

A billboard says “Welcome Home LeBron,” but there is a big red ‘X’ over home.  The second line poses a question: “How does it feel to be a sidekick?,”  a reference to James’ decision to join Dwayne Wade on the Miami Heat.  Sidekick is underlined in red.  The message then ends with “Go Cleveland!” in gold letters.

The Omada Group, a marketing company in Akron, paid $3,000 for the billboard, which is on Route 18 eastbound between I-71 and I-77, about two miles from James’ estate in Bath.  The company paid about $3,000 for the billboard, which will be up for about a month.

Matthew Palumbo, one of the principals at the Omada Group, said he hopes the billboard sparks a grassroots campaign to let James know exactly where he stands in his home state since his decision to leave.

James is scheduled to return to Akron for his annual bike-a-thon charity event next weekend.

He could pass the sign on his way home from Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport.

Justin Bieber called hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ bluff when he promised to give the pop star the keys to his white Lamborghini on Bieber’s 16th birthday. Back in March, the blond-haired singer told ‘People’ Magazine, “He [Diddy] said when I turn 16 he was going to give me his Lamborghini. But we all know Diddy’s not gonna give me his Lamborghini. He’s all talk.”

But Diddy, known for shelling out extravagant gifts, made good on his promise. Bieber was spotted in L.A. this week driving the white Lamborghini Spyder with friend Sean Kingston riding shot gun. While out cruising the streets, the young duo stopped by Pinkberry, a popular frozen yogurt shop, hours before Bieber’s concert at the Nokia Theater that evening.

Bieber is the second teenager that the Bad Boy CEO has given a flashy ride to this year. In January, he gave his son, Justin Dior, a $360K Maybach for his 16th birthday.

Lindsay Lohan was just sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating her probation in her DUI case, followed by a 90-day inpatient rehab program.

Judge Marsha Revel sentenced LiLo after an incredulous prosecutor, Danette Meyers, told the judge that Lohan has been thumbing her nose at the court.

The evidence was loud and clear today — Lindsay violated probation by failing to attend her alcohol ed classes based on the schedule set by the judge. There were lots of excuses, but ultimately they didn’t fly.

The judge said there was a pattern of violations since Lindsay was placed on probation in 2007 following her plea bargain in her DUI case.

Lindsay broke down as she addressed the court, telling the judge, “I did the best I could.”

Lindsay dissolved into tears when the judge imposed the sentence.

Lohan must surrender on July 20 in Judge Revel’s court.

He allegedly walked into the cockpit, grabbing the pilot’s arms demanding he land the plane at once.

The pilot deemed Chappelle to be a “safety risk” and diverted the plane to Pittsburgh.

Once there Dave checked into a hotel and inquired about renting a car so he could drive home to Ohio, only he couldn’t remember where he lived.

According to Dave’s rep, the comedian ate something that made him sick. He didn’t want to use the plane’s bathroom because it “wasn’t the kind he needed”.

What the hell could Dave have possibly wanted to do in the bathroom, that couldn’t be done in the plane’s facilities?
